Embodied Constellations
What Are Family & Systemic Constellations?
Family & Systemic Constellations are an embodied approach to unearthing the systemic roots and inherited patterns of the issues we face in our lives with roots in the Indigenous wisdom of the Zulu people of South Africa. The process is powerful, deeply transformational, and helps us to see and understand the landscape of our life, relationships, challenges, entanglements and desires in an expansive and clear way.
How Do Constellations Work?
A constellation can take place in a group setting or one-on-one with a facilitator. You share the concern or question, and together, we create a “constellation” by assigning people or objects to represent aspects of the issue. These elements come together to form a visual representation that uncovers valuable insights. As the process unfolds, these representations move and adjust, uncovering new connections that also prompt inner shifts.
This practice is about inclusion and belonging - every part has its place within the ecosystem. When we slow down, see something new through the process, shift perspectives and invite in resources, we begin to see blocks as allies. In this space something new in our experience, in our lives can arise.
